Malta Freeport Terminals is seeking to recruit a Junior Architect to join the Projects Department. This post demands the professional ability to perform, and be responsible for, full project development design and management.
The selected candidate will be responsible for assigned field work both on site and outside the Terminals making use of civil engineering techniques, procedures, and principles on a variety of civil engineering projects and maintenance. The person must have the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines whilst maintaining all quality requirements. Furthermore, the person must be able to schedule and record daily activities and compile comprehensive summary field reports accordingly.
The ideal applicant must possess a degree related to the post. The person must be proficient in computer programs including AutoCAD, Word and Excel.
A minimum of 5 years experience reflecting the knowledge, skills and abilities listed under the job outline will be considered a must. The selected candidate must have experience in managing and estimating construction projects from start to finish in a timely manner, in making formal presentations and in overseeing projects to completion.
