More than 4,870 container moves were carried out by Malta Freeport Terminals on the APL Temasek in an impressive seven quay crane operation. The vessel was operating on the MEX1 Service on its westbound route operated by the #OceanAlliance. Malta Freeport deployed the two new megamax quay cranes with a five megamax crane formation. We are one of the few ports in the Mediterranean with the capability to operate the latest class of megamax super container ships that are able to transport over 23,000 TEU containers.
