Assist – IoT 7th Plenary meeting hosted by Malta Freeport

Smarter terminals… #MaltaFreeportTerminals is proud to be hosting the seventh Plenary Meeting of the Assist-IoT R&D Project, which focuses on next generation IoT architecture and forms part of the European’s Union Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. Being held between October 4 and 6, the project features 15 ASSIST-IoT partners from seven European countries who bring a range of skills and specialisations to the table. In ASSIST-IoT, there is continuous assessment and verification of project results across three areas: Port Automation; Smart Safety of Workers; and Cohesive Vehicle Monitoring and Diagnostics. The Freeport is part of Terminal Link terminals portfolio and one of the partners of the project. The other partners are Universitat Politecnica Valencia (UPV), Prodevelop (PRO), Systems Research Institute Polish Academy of Sciences (SRIPAS), The Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), Terminal Link (TL), Infolysis (INF), Central Institute for Labour Protection (CIOP), Mostostal (MOW), Neways (NEW), Institute of Communications and Computer Systems (ICCS), Konecranes (KONE), FORD, S21 SEC (S21SEC), TwoTronic (TWOT), and Orange (OPL).
