Community matters… #MaltaFreeportTerminals is delighted to have received an award at the Malta Business Awards in the best CSR Initiative Category for its contribution to the local Birzebbuga area. The Freeport has undertaken various community projects and environmental initiatives over the past year, the standout being our support for the Blossom Project, an initiative by the Malta Trust Foundation which offers psycho-social support to students at St Benedict College in Birzebbuga. This has had an incredibly positive impact on our community. While the Freeport is a big player in Malta’s economic success, we also pride ourselves on our values and commitment to our neighbours and local community. Giving something back is very important to us and we will continue to do this as often as possible. The company wishes to thank all those who collaborate with us, not least the Birzebbuga Local Council with whom we often work hand in hand, as well as our dedicated workforce whose hard work makes it all possible.
