Malta Freeport Terminals Ltd (MFTL) is calling for proposals for Structural Crane inspections and Lifetime Assessment on 8 (qty) OMG Ship to Shore Cranes i.e. QC01 to QC 08. Cranes have been erected and commissioned at MFT between 1998 and 2000 which since then have handled circa 1.8 million container moves per QC.

The cranes specifications are included in the appendices of the Tender Document.

Clarifications
The Tenderer shall promptly notify the Company of any ambiguity upon examination of the Tender Documents. Tenderers requiring clarification or interpretations of the Tender Documents shall make a written request to the Purchasing Department prior to the deadline set in the Tender schedule. All meetings or clarifications between Tenderers and Company representatives and/or nominee, either in writing or in person shall be made in the presence of Purchasing Department or equivalent representative bodies.
Submission of Tender Offers
All Tenders and any other documents required to be submitted preferably through a soft copy addressed to the Purchasing Manager:

For any other documentation / brochures etc. that cannot be sent in soft copy email can be delivered at the front desk at the Malta Freeport Terminals Administration block reception addressed to the Purchasing Manager.
The outer package enclosing the Tender offer shall be marked with the Tender Name and the name of the Tenderer’s organisation. All offers must be received by not later than the closing date and time indicated in the Tendering Schedule.
Late Submission of Tender Offers
Contractors shall not be able to submit a tender offer once the deadline for submission of tenders has expired. No liability can be accepted for delays or technical difficulties that preclude tender offers from being submitted in time. No tender may be amended or withdrawn after the deadline for submission.
